Can Vivek Ramaswamy defy all odds in the GOP Iowa Caucus?

With only hours to go until the Republican Caucuses open in the Hawkeye State, former president Donald  J. Trump leads by almost a 30% margin in most mainstream polls.

According to the same polls Nikki Haley trails in second, with Florida Governor Ron De Santis in 3rd with 16% of the popular vote.

Sitting as least favorite in the polls is outsider Vivek Ramaswamy. Although noticing the social media hype around him would seem as if the pollsters are not factoring in the new Republican candidate in all their options provided to potential voters. This may remind us all of both the 2016 Primaries and Presidential campaign in which Trump who was then an outsider defied all polling results which put him behind his GOP peers and then Hilary Clinton, and we know how that ended.

As of yesterday the 14th of January 2024, BET US reflected these polling results within their latest Iowa Caucus betting odds placing Ramaswamy as 4th favorite. Unfortunately that market is not available anymore.
